20살 송엽은 부산 영도에 들어와 ‘깡깡이’를 시작한다. 

베테랑 깡깡이 아지매 ‘만선, 부연, 길자’를 만나 호쾌한 망치질로 배를 고쳐나가는 송엽이지만, 

그의 삶 속 깊은 틈 사이에 부식된 것은 어떻게 떼어낼 수 있을지 막막하다. 

일하는 여성의 여정은 영도를 넘어 전국으로, 20세기를 넘어 21세기로 흘러간다. 

사회와 가정 사이에서 중심을 잡아야 하는 이들이 깡깡 소리내어 말하고자 한 것은 무엇이었을까? 

기록되지 않은 이야기, 서사가 되지 못한 이야기를 들여다 보고자 한다. 

Songyeop arrives in Yeongdo, Busan, and starts playing kkangkang. 

Song Yeop, meets Manseon, Buyeon, and Gilja who is a veteran, and fixes ship with a pleasant hammer, but it is unclear how to remove the corroded things between the deep gaps in her life. 

The journey of working women goes beyond Yeongdo to the whole country, and beyond the 20th century to the 21st century.

What was it that those who had to take center stage between society and family tried to say out loud? I would like to look into stories that have not been recorded or stories that have not been narrated.
